Nice ambience nice menu. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired on the evening we were our guests. Show of hands and speech seemed to be ignored. The food unfortunately sounded better than it tasted. The soup is too salty for snails with too much oil and too little garlic for our taste. The salad was okay even if it was a bit too oily for me.

Cute rooms in farm style, good prices, only disadvantage: as a smoker you have to leave the building.

Reservation, especially now, is recommended. The wait staff is friendly, the service is quick. The prices are reasonable and the quality was excellent for our choice. We recommend.

Has been here for a long time and was pleasantly surprised - the quality of the house has not changed in almost 20 years - it is still as excellent as it was then. I can only recommend this house.

Super friendly staff, very good food and normal prices. I had the roast pork with potato dumplings and I liked it very much. Only the side salad came during the meal but I think it's OK. I would love to come back ..... it was delicious. Unfortunately can only give 5 stars.

Nice hotel with a delicious restaurant. I didn't like the bathroom under a sloping ceiling. As a tall person, you cannot stand upright in the bathtub and take a shower. The service is very attentive.

Excellent cuisine with local dishes. We were there twice. The boiled beef, lamb and duck breast were highly recommended. The Franconian Silvaner Soup was a feast for the eyes, but it is only served in a wine glass with a lot of luck. Were very disappointed when on our 2nd visit the soup was only served in a boring bowl. The head waiter was unfortunately not ready to serve the soup in the wine glass, allegedly all glasses were dirty. What a shame!

I stayed 2 nights/3 days here during Easter Weekend. The front staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. The room I had was very clean and spacious. However, I took some stars away for a few reasons. The room was hot as there is no central air (ac). It was about 26 degrees Celsius outside so it was an oven inside the room by the end of the day. (Even with curtains closed during the day) Also, the pillows are sooooo soft that they were uncomfortable. I woke up with neck and back pain both mornings due to not be able to sleep properly. Maybe it’s a preference but these pillows felt like nothing but empty pillow cases. I also think a lift/elevator would be a nice addition to the hotel. Unfortunately, if you have a big family with much luggage, you’ll have to walk up quite a bit of stairs.

All in all wonderful! Both the food, as well as the warm service and the hospitality are very positive. Whether prepared baby chair on the table or water for the dog, all requests were immediately comprehensive and above all gladly fulfilled. The quality of the food was very good, everything was fresh and totally delicious. Even the desserts left nothing to be desired. Always my pleasure! A small note at this point would be to add a complementary dessert variation to the map. It would also have a mousse au chocolat or a small chocolate cake with liquid core fit perfectly.

Lovely upscale popular german restaurant with delicious food and perfect service. We had the smoked salmon appetizer with horseradish and some greens, the high quality salmon melted in my mouth, absolutely delicious and a large portion! As an entree, we tried the rack of lamb with rosemary crust, au gratin potatoes, extra jus on the side and a small salad. The lamb was at a tender medium rare to medium, the creamy potatoes a little too salty, someone was in love there, but overall very good. Plus the plate looked like art work! The hotel has lovely comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet with eggs made to order.

Excellent traditional environment, regional kitchen from Franken. Good wines and great service. I felt pampered from the service, all my needs catered from the very friendly personal. It worths five stars!
